Vision boards are such a magnificent way to realize your dreams and bring them to fruition.
I have been making vision boards for over 10 years now and so many great things have come from making them. I have manifested and received so many blessings.
I’m a dancer and through asking for what I desire by the creation of my vision boards, I have traveled internationally on tours through America, Europe, & Australia.
I have worked with specific artists that I wanted to work with. I’ve manifested my husband, and so much more, so believe me when I say I am a true believer of vision boards, whether digital or physical.

What is a Vision Board
A vision board is exactly that, your vision of your life, on a board in pictures and words.
Most people create physical vision boards, which I also love, but there is also something so special to me about a vision board online, simply because you can access it wherever you are, and this is important if you want to make it a part of your routine especially if you are on the go a lot, and may tend to forget in the mornings before you leave to even take a glance at your physical vision board.
You include your goals in both pictures and words – whatever your preference, affirmations, and things that make it pretty, because you want it to feel good when you are looking at it. After the creation of it, you put it somewhere in your house, on your computer or phone if digital that you will be able to glance at daily.
I’ve created this amazing vision board toolkit that is 60% off for my website visitors for a limited amount of time. It comes with a vision board workbook, 5 digital Canva drag and drop templates, and affirmation cards for every area of life.
Why Make a Vision Board
The reason I love vision boards is because it takes all the weight off of me feeling like it’s up to me to make everything I want come to fruition in my life.
Now while I do believe that a large part of accomplishing goals and dreams requires a lot of discipline and self motivated action, I also believe that there are things that are out of my control that only God can direct into my experience.
I believe that ASKing is a large part of seeing those things become a reality for me. This is one of my many ways that I ask the Universe for what I want in my life.
Vision boards also get me excited about life. I love seeing my desires laid out in pictures for me to see daily. It makes me feel even closer to achieving my goals. Something about seeing my vision also makes me want to take more action on the things that I desire.
Why Make an Online Vision Board
What I love about digital vision boards created online are the different elements that you can add to bring your vision board to life, the ease of creating the board online, and the fact that no supplies is needed, just a computer or phone.
I have created my share of physical and digital vision boards and what I loved about the online vision board was that I could have it with me at all times, I could also use it in my morning routine and watch an actual video, because I believe a video is the best type of online vision board you can create.
You can play it anytime and invoke the feeling of what you want anytime of the day, which is one of the most important elements of a vision board, but more on that later.
How to Create an Online Digital Vision Board
1. Create your vision
For a vision board you first decide what your vision is that you want to create a board or video about. What do you want? My advice is not to overcrowd it with so many goals. Choose a few that are the most important to you at this point in your life and write the vision first.
Don’t think about the How, just write the vision & get excited about it! This planner is the perfect tool for getting clear on exactly what you want, writing your goals and affirmations in one place, and removing blocks that stand in your way of accomplishing your vision.
I love first writing in a planner so that I can see it on paper right in front of me. I think it is important to have a designated Vision journal not only for writing and referring back to your vision, but to also keep everything there related to your vision and goals.
This is great because you can use it in your daily manifestation routine as a one stop shop to manifest your dreams. This is also great for when things begin manifesting. You can look back and see where you wrote it down and what you were believing for.
This stirs up even more belief that God is working for you and that what you are asking for will come to fruition.
2. Create an affirmation for each vision
Affirmations are positive statements made about something that you want to come to fruition in your life. I like to create affirmations for each area of my life that I put on my vision board. This is another aspect of seeing your vision as already achieved.
I believe that combining both images and words helps to train your subconscious mind to see yourself in that place.
Each affirmation has to be said in the affirmative as a positive statement, so that you think about what you want to bring into your life, not what you want to push out.
Your mind only hears the thing that you are speaking about. For example, if you are saying, “I am no longer overweight”, all your mind focuses on is overweight. You hear overweight. A better affirmation for weight loss would be “I am fit and healthy” or “I have a slim figure” or more specifically “I weigh 135 and I look great!”.
These I AM Affirmations are great for seeing yourself in a positive light, more than capable of achieving everything you desire in this life!

3. Choose What Type of Digital Vision Board You Want
Vision Video with Mind Movies
My preference when it comes to vision boards online is to create a vision video. I prefer this because if it’s going to be digital I want to go all out and do what is going to be the most effective, using everything that the digital/online world has to offer me.
I like this tool to create my online vision board/ vision video. It is an amazing software that allows you to add positive affirmations, music, pictures, and videos to your online vision board. One huge thing that I love about this program is that they use subliminal affirmations that you can add into your video.
Subliminal affirmations are Bomb because they bypass your doubting conscious mind that tells you that you can’t do a thing and go right into your subconscious mind, which is the part of our brain that controls 95% or more of what we think and do on a daily basis.
Therefore, by bypassing my conscious mind and automatically reprograming my subconscious while envisioning my life exactly how I want it to be, I am putting so much power behind my vision and truly aligning my belief with what I desire, which is all that God is truly waiting for us to do to manifest our desires.
I’m sure we all know how it feels to wake up in the morning and just feel some kind of way…not necessarily the good way.
Well immediately playing my vision board video when I wake up gets my morning started in such an amazing way! It’s something about the music combined with the pictures and the affirmations that really makes me feel like I am there in that moment. I usually immediately feel my energy shift.
This is one of the most powerful ways to manifest the things that you want in your life because it combines all of your senses into imagining the most positive outcome for your life.
The purpose of a vision board is to keep your vision in front of you so that you are always seeing the things that you want to bring to fruition in your life, and more importantly to feel the feelings of already having it.
This is a huge advantage of the video because by combining the inspirational music with pictures, video, and affirmations, you put yourself in a position to be able to easily visualize yourself already where you want to be.
How many times have you been watching a movie or commercial and you start to feel some way because of the pictures, the video, and the music, whether it’s happy, inspired, scared, etc. Now try taking away the music and replacing it with a still picture with no music, or pausing it on a lovely picture, but no music or affirmations exist. The feelings are different and not as strong.
That is why I love videos with all elements involved because it is so powerful, since it combines multiple senses to work together towards a common goal.
Digital Vision Board
A digital vision board is a vision board with pictures. It is exactly what you would create physically, but it’s digital instead. A great thing about a digital vision board is that you can save it as your desktop wallpaper or your mobile background and view it whenever your desktop is displayed. You can also save it on your phone and take it with you wherever you go.
Also, unlike a physical vision board, it can be changed as your goals and visions change. However, you should never change your vision because you believe that it is out of reach. Work on building your belief, a point we will touch on later.
I have created this amazing vision board toolkit that includes a 79 page workbook, 5 digital drag and drop templates, and beautiful affirmation cards. You can get it now for 60% off. I know you will love it.
4. Choose What Will go on Your Vision Video or Digital Vision Board
For each area of your vision board, you will need to decide what to put on your board.
Some of the work has been done in the steps above with affirmations and writing your vision statements, but you will also need to decide on the pictures you want to use.
Most online vision board makers, like Mind Movies, Canva, PicMonkey has a database of pictures that you can choose from that will allow you to add these photos to your video. You will also be able to upload your own photos. This is great if you want to include pictures of yourself and your family/friends on your vision board.
5. Create Your Board
Now the moment we have all been waiting for! Time to create your vision video or vision board/journal, whichever you prefer. If you have done the proper preparation, then this part should be easy and exciting!
- Choose the order of your goals that you will include in your digital vision board – if it is a video you decide the order, if it is a board you decide on the layout
- Work on one area at a time until that vision goal is complete and then move on to the next – add your pictures, affirmations, music (if it’s a video), and then when complete move to the next section and do the same
- Decorate – if it’s simply a board, make it look pretty. This is something that you want to enjoy looking at on a daily basis so make it look nice so that it invokes feelings of peace and happiness when you see it.
- After it is done save it somewhere where you will have easy access to view it whenever you want. My suggestion is save it on your phone so that you can pull it up throughout the day.
What to Do After You Create a Vision Board
This is the path to making your vision board actually work for you. It’s one thing to create the board and never look at it or see it again, it’s another thing to take the necessary steps to bring your vision to life by taking action and putting your vision board to use.
Here is what I recommend:
Keep Your Vision in Front of You
Keeping your vision in front of you is extremely important.
You have taken the huge first step of creating the vision board, now you just have to make sure you will see it regularly. This is why it is important to save what you create on your phone so that you can have it with you at all times!
If it’s a video add it to your favorites on your phone so that you can open it and view it when the time comes each day or when you think about it.
If it is just pictures from a digital board, then you can save it as the background/wallpaper on your phone and as a photo.
Also, with the journal guide that I created, you can keep it with you in a notebook as a complimentary vision book to go along with your online vision. It also has sections for your daily routine that you want to do everyday.
Daily Morning Manifestation Routine
When you wake up in the morning that is when your mind is most impressionable. This is because you are still in your calm sleepy state ‘theta’ and slowly coming out of that state.
This is the state that you are placed in for hypnosis, which is when your mind can be imprinted with all types of thoughts and beliefs. It bypasses your waking conscious mind that is constantly talking to you and goes directly to the subconscious mind.
This is also the state you are in during deep meditation. Therefore, this is the perfect time to look at your vision video or digital vision board and speak your affirmations over your life. Your subconscious, or what is also call the God Consciousness is most easily spoken to during this state of consciousness because that’s when your mind is most at rest.
Use this time to sit in a quiet place with your vision board and imagine yourself in the place and having the things that you desire for your life. It doesn’t have to be for 20 minutes, you can simply set a time for 5 minutes every morning.
You want to create the feeling of having already accomplished what it is you desire. “Believe that you have already received”.
Your morning activities also set the pace for your day and can determine what will be on your mind that day.
If you start the day on the wrong side of the bed, thinking about what you don’t have, what is wrong in your life, etc., then you will attract more of that into your life.
However, if you start your day out envisioning your future and believing that you have already received it, you then take control of your day, which means you are taking control of your life and attracting exactly what you are believing for. You are being a conscious creator with God! Empowering right!

Build Your Belief
Building your belief that belief, visioning, vision boards, faith, the law of attraction actually works is another important step.
If you have created this vision board and are constantly doubting that it will create anything in your life, that doesn’t put you in the best position to receive.
“Be it done to you according to your faith”
This means that having faith/belief that this will work also plays a big part in creating a vision board. If someone says to you “Well I created my vision board and nothing has happened so I don’t believe they work” let that go in one ear and out the other. It is being done to them according to their faith.
If you continue to build your belief and have a great conviction that this process works, you will see miracles come true in your life. I am a witness. You can read my story here.
Ways that I have built my faith is by reading books that speak on that topic. I have an article on the 7 Best Law of Attraction books that have transformed the way I think about belief. I didn’t include the Bible because it speaks on many things, but it also plays a huge part in my belief that faith works. Just do a search on “faith scriptures”
Choose one of these books and commit to reading and finishing it. You will be happy you did!
Other ways you can build your faith is through affirmations, reading and listening to success stories of others who have attracted amazing things into their life by creating a vision board.
Make a Commitment to Commit to Your Habit
The last thing is make a commitment to your habit.
I know that it’s easy to start a new habit, but it can be much harder for people to stick to it after 4 days. That is why developing a morning routine that you can stick to is critical.
Also having someone that can hold you accountable who is also doing the same thing is amazing as well. Make a commitment to be committed and you will see amazing results come out of your vision board!
