Monetizing your blog is every bloggers dream right?! Wouldn’t we all like to wake up and magically see 10k in our bank account that our blog has generated for us overnight?
Welllll I’m here to tell you that it is totally possible. You can generate 10k from your blog because there are tons and tons of bloggers out there doing that very thing right now.
However…it might look a little different than how you have seen others do it, or even how you have thought about it playing out in your mind.
How many times have you heard, oh just write a ton of blog posts and see what sticks and then you can hone in on that topic more and more.

It requires intention, a little bit of learning, and action.

This is the starting point my friend, and where I suggest you begin your efforts.
Affiliate marketing is probably one of the absolute best ways to monetize your blog no matter where you are in your blogging journey.
This is because all you literally need is an avenue to refer others to your affiliate link, which in our case is an article where we talk about a product and simply provide the link.
You don’t need to create a product, sales pages, copy, or anything that requires a large commitment of time. Literally just an article where you talk about something that you believe in and recommend to others.

In addition to that, you want to know that you are creating a product that your customers actually want. Does it solve a problem? Are lots of people searching for the solution to what your digital product can solve?
If not, no biggie, you just may need to revamp or do a little research to find out what people actually want and need.

Now the reality of blogging is that it is a long term game if you plan to take the organic traffic route. It could take months and sometimes even years to actually get found on Google.
Pinterest is a little different, although it has changed over the past year or so. You can still get good steady traffic from Pinterest as a newbie.
So if organic is your vibe then you should definitely take a look at my absolute favorite Pinterest course that I used to start getting consistent traffic to my blog back when I was a newbie.
This woman is the truth! She grew a new blog that she created as an experiment to over 60,000 pageviews per month in the current Pinterest landscape.
