Sharing is caring!

We are all from time to time looking for ways to feel better and to be happier in our everyday lives.

These feelings of unhappiness and discontent often stem from unacceptance of a situation in our life, or focusing too much on the negative in our world.

A wonderful thing that I have learned is that what we focus on grows and magnifies in life.  If we want to feel happier and attract even more to be grateful for, learning to focus on the good in life is a complete game changer.

Gratitude also shows us how to actually notice the things that we have been blessed with.  We can receive blessing after blessing, but unless we train ourselves to truly see what’s in front of us, we often won’t know what we have.

A huge way to cultivate this joy and feel much more of it daily is to practice gratitude every single day.  Yessss! I love this because simply by changing what we focus on regularly we can completely change our everyday world!

There are many ways to practice gratitude daily, which includes gratitude affirmations.  This is one of my favorite ways because not only am I focusing on what I have to be grateful for, but I’m also creating new beliefs in my mind by repeating these affirmations regularly.

What are gratitude affirmations:

Affirmations help us to change our beliefs about something.  Since our thoughts are on repeat for much (or all) of our day, using these affirmations will help to reprogram your thoughts and create the new thoughts/affirmations, that you are giving it to believe.

Gratitude affirmations are a way to program thoughts of gratitude into your mind about your life, others around you, and anything that you want to program into your beliefs.

Remember this when speaking these gratitude affirmations.  Be bold and speak strongly as though they already apply to your life.  Speak them with feeling and they will be true for you!

How often should I practice gratitude

I believe that gratitude should be practiced everyday to create a habit of looking at the good in your life.  It takes anywhere from 21-66 days to truly form a habit, so if you can speak these affirmations or write in a gratitude journal daily, you will feel a drastic difference in the way you think and feel, and the thoughts that come into your mind.

The more you practice the habit of gratitude, the better you will feel, until one day you will wake up and feel like a completely different person!

What other ways can I practice gratitude

Gratitude journal

As I mentioned earlier, a gratitude journal is another great way to cultivate the habit of gratitude.

Writing things down helps to imprint our subconscious mind with the thoughts that we are writing.  Thinking about gratitude is great, but when you write out your gratitude you are more focused on it and allowing yourself to really experience the exercise.  Do this for 21 days and begin to see your mindset and feelings shift.

This daily gratitude journal printable is awesome for this.  It also has a habit tracker and gratitude affirmation cards that you can put up in your house to really enforce thoughts and feelings of gratitude into your mind and therefore, your life.

    Gratitude Subliminals

Another way we can practice gratitude is by using Gratitude Subliminals

Subliminal affirmations are very powerful because they bypass the conscious mind and imprint the subconscious directly.

Subliminal affirmations are affirmations that are spoken directly to your subconscious mind using a frequency that your conscious mind cannot hear, and therefore, cannot form thoughts against.

This is what allows subliminal affirmations to be so powerful.  Sometimes when speaking affirmations to ourselves, our conscious mind has a tendency to want to think limiting beliefs and discourage the thoughts that we are attempting to imprint.

However, because your conscious mind cannot hear the thoughts being spoken to your subconscious mind, it won’t have the opportunity to speak against the suggestions, therefore making it easy for these thoughts to be accepted by the subconscious mind.

I use these subliminals regularly and love them.

Even if all of these affirmations aren’t true for you right now, by speaking them and feeling the frequency that they are true, they can become your reality.  Allow yourself to focus on the affirmations that make you feel good when you speak them!
